I’m feeling trusting
Feeling trusting arises when we let go of control and choose to rely on God’s faithfulness, guidance, and promises. It’s your heart signaling that you are choosing to have faith, even when the future is uncertain or circumstances are difficult. Trust is rooted in confidence in God’s character and His ability to provide, protect, and lead us in the right direction. It invites us to surrender our worries and rest in the assurance that God is in control, knowing that He is trustworthy in all things.
What You Might Be Feeling Right Now
You might feel a deep sense of peace and assurance, knowing that even though you don’t have all the answers, you can trust God to lead you. This feeling of trust could be in a specific situation, relationship, or decision, and you might feel confident that God has everything under control. You may be choosing to trust Him with the unknowns, resting in the certainty that He will provide the clarity or strength you need when the time is right.
God’s Heart for You in Trust
Proverbs 3:5-6
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight."
God calls us to trust Him fully, not relying on our own understanding or strength. When we submit our ways to Him, He promises to direct our paths, guiding us through life’s uncertainties with His wisdom and faithfulness.
Isaiah 26:4
"Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord, the Lord Himself, is the Rock eternal."
God is a firm foundation we can trust, no matter the circumstances. His faithfulness is unshakable, and when we trust in Him, we find stability and peace in His eternal nature.
Psalm 9:10
"Those who know Your name trust in You, for You, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek You."
God has proven Himself faithful throughout history. When we trust in Him, we can be confident that He will never leave us or forsake us, and He will guide us through every situation.
What You Can Do Right Now
- Acknowledge Your Trust: Reflect on the areas where you are choosing to trust God. Whether it’s in a difficult relationship, a life decision, or the unknown, recognize the peace that comes from letting go and trusting in His plan.
- Pray for Continued Trust: Ask God to help you maintain your trust in Him, especially in times of uncertainty. Pray for strength to lean on His understanding rather than your own and to surrender control fully to Him.
- Remind Yourself of His Faithfulness: Reflect on the ways God has been faithful to you in the past. Write down moments where you have seen His provision and care, and use these reminders to deepen your trust in His promises.
- Let Go of Worry: Trusting often means releasing worry and anxiety about the future. Take a moment to consciously let go of any fears or concerns, and place them in God’s hands.
- Be Open to His Leading: Trusting also means being open to God’s guidance. Spend time listening for His voice, whether through Scripture, prayer, or the counsel of others, and follow where He leads you.

I place my worries and fears in Your hands, knowing that You will provide. Amen."
