Heavenly Father, as I seek to establish a new perspective and relationship with money, I turn to You for wisdom and guidance. Help me to view money as a tool and not a master, aligning my understanding with Your Word in Matthew 6:24, 'No one can serve two masters... You cannot serve both God and money.' Teach me to use financial resources responsibly and for Your glory, not for selfish gain or material obsession.
Instill in me a heart of generosity, reflecting Your generous nature, as exemplified in 2 Corinthians 9:7, 'Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.' May I learn the joy of giving and understand the true value of generosity in Your kingdom.
Guide me to find a balance between prudent saving and trusting in Your provision, as You remind us in Philippians 4:19, 'And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.' Help me to prioritize eternal treasures over earthly wealth, seeking first Your kingdom and righteousness (Matthew 6:33).
Lord, transform my attitude towards money to reflect Your values and principles. Teach me contentment, stewardship, and gratitude for all that You have provided. In every financial decision, let me seek Your wisdom and honor You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
